Nicoleta and Pascal decided to celebrate their wedding in a beautiful location on the hills of Rhine Valley, in Switzerland, together with their families and best friends. It was a intimate wedding, and they could not have chosen a better location for this beautiful day as Weinstein Castle. It was a perfect combination between 2 cultures, 2 traditions, 2 different ways of celebrating a wedding: romanian and swiss. They managed to merge these traditions in a perfect combination. How did they managed and what was the result? You can just see in the pictures below...
We recently spent a few days in Andalusia, more exactly in Marbella. It was planned to be a week for us, as a family. But we could not help ourselves, and we wandered a bit around, and this is the result. I did not had any major expectation, as with a 1.5 years old baby (he is actually a todler), you cannot plan too much, as you never know how what his mood will be: tired, hungry, sleepy, excited, etc. You just have to go with the flow, and make the most of it :)
My first thoughts after this trip is that Marbella is very commercial (except a small area in the old city), and you can see that it used to be a place for people with money (it's not anymore as they did not really managed to keep it at the old standards). I tried to capture what is outside of all this commercial spirit of Andalusia. And you still can find "magical" things :) For example, when we visited Ronda, we found a guy playing his guitar in Plaza Duquesa de Parcent. He was playing "Sound of silence" (Simon and Garfunkel). It was really magical! There is nothing better than listening to a Spanish guitar and enjoying a nice glass of wine!
PS: if you want to visit Alhambra, make our online reservation way ahead, at least 2 Months ahead, as the numbers of daily visitors is limited and you will not be able to enter.
A collection of photos from our short hiking trips in Switzerland. I think is the most beautiful autumn that we had so far in Switzerland since we are here. We managed to walk around in several places in the eastern and central Switzerland, sometimes at higher altitudes and sometimes just enjoying calm walks. The beauty of the landscape is just breathtaking. We decided to back next summer at Talalpsee and camp there for 1 or 2 nights. Just imagine a small retreat without electricity and without any internet. The other places where we spent our afternoons are: Amden (St Gallen); Braunwald (Glarus); Caumasee (Graubünden); Etzel (Schwyz); Heididorf (Graubünden); Klöntalersee (Glarus); Obersee (Glarus); Talalpsee (Glarus); Sihlsee (Schwyz). And the best part was that we spent time together!

It's been an interesting journey in the last few weeks but I am really happy with the end result! This time, it's done with the help of a professional designer. It fully represents me, my style and the point where I want to get as a photographer. I am a big believer in the notion of "fine art photography" and I will continuously work to improve myself.
We had an amazing afternoon in a relatively small and not so popular park in Switzerland. It's not a standard park, found in the center of a city, so, unless you know about it, for sure the chances to miss it when you drive by, are very high. And, I think, that this makes it even more charming. The Seleger Moor park is home to the largest rhododendron and azalea collection in Switzerland.
It is a pleasure to walk through this park, because, depending of the period of the year, there will always be some flower blooming.
"My Tuscany" is a collection of photos from my voyage thorough Tuscany. Although you may not find standard shots from Tuscany (e.g. Belvedere or other famous places in the region), this is a representation of how I found Tuscany at my first (and second) visit. I do not say that this is the whole Tuscany, it just "my Tuscany". How I saw it. And I liked it. For sure there is something magic there that sticks to your heart.
Finally got time to work on these pictures. Unbelievable how fast time flies (6 months already from when we took these pictures in Tuscany) — at Castello delle Serre. If you want to have a nice time in Tuscany, I highly recommend this place with so friendly people: Mirco, Andrea, Salvatore and Antonio.
What a nice Sunday we had to make these pictures! It was the perfect time (and maybe one of the last chances) for the long promised (and awaited) maternity session for my beautiful wife. She had to wait for more than 8 months for this :) So, we walked on a beautiful October afternoon around Sihlwald, a small forest near to Zurich lake. We come quite often here to run or to bike, but this time I saw this forest with different eyes. There was something magical in the air.
Cooking is another passion of mine. I am more than happy to spend some time in the kitchen. So, this Sunday was an excellent occasion for that. This should had been a Rustic Red Velvet Cake Layered with Berries but I did not had enough liquid red food coloring, but I am not disappointed by the result at all ;)
Love story in Tuscany. The album in pictures from our inspirational engagement session from "The Italy experience" with Mike Larson. We had a nice session although the weather was not really the best ;)
Expecting photo session with my beautiful wife. When I think about all that she has been through and what is still to come, I can't say something else, just that she is my hero.Photos are taken in the beautiful village of Flüeli-Ranft ( im Kanton Obwalden) in Switzerland.
